Public-private partnerships remain essential to unlocking the full potential of agriculture in Ghana. Progress in the sector often depends on how quickly challenges are addressed and timelines are kept on track. At the African Agribusiness Consortium (AAC), we believe in taking action finding solutions that keep projects moving, especially when it creates opportunities for young people to get onto the land and into meaningful work.
This week, AAC had a productive engagement with the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), led by CEO Mr. Alexander Mould. Discussions centered on the Tsopoli irrigation project and how collaboration can ensure the timely completion of its final stages. With land already cleared and the system nearly ready, the focus is now on bridging the last gap to enable planting to begin without delay. We are grateful to the MiDA team for their openness and shared commitment to progress.
Partnerships like this are not just conversations, they are the driving force behind building a stronger, more sustainable future for agriculture in Ghana.
