Last week, I had the privilege of visiting Kigali, Rwanda, with my team to explore partnerships that will strengthen AAC's cassava value addition and processing business.
We engaged with Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd and Ingabo Farmers Association, gaining valuable insights into cassava value chains, farmer organisation, and agribusiness development. We also paid a courtesy call on the Ghana High Commission in Rwanda, where we were warmly received by H.E. Ernest Amporful and his team to discuss opportunities for greater Ghana–Rwanda collaboration.
The visit concluded on a memorable note as I was honoured at the 100 Legendary African Dignitaries Awards & Conference on Leadership. This recognition is a reminder that meaningful impact is achieved through collaboration, service, and a shared commitment to Africa's development.
My sincere appreciation goes to the organisers, especially Baroness Paulette KPORO and the Business Executive team, for celebrating leadership and excellence across the continent. I also thank my colleagues, partners, mentors, friends, and family for their unwavering support.
Together, let us continue building partnerships that advance agriculture, strengthen food security, and transform Africa.
