Inspiring the Next Generation of Farmers

If we want more young people to embrace agriculture, we must show them that their efforts matter.

Yesterday, we gathered with our young farmers, chiefs, and community leaders on the farm in Torgome to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our youth. Sharing a meal prepared with rice from their own harvest, presenting medals to every farmer group, and recognising the highest-yielding team made the day truly memorable.

One of the highlights was seeing so many young women leading by example. Their confidence, commitment, and enthusiasm are proof that the future of agriculture is bright.

Moments like these strengthen our resolve at AAC to create more opportunities for young people through agriculture. My sincere appreciation goes to our chiefs, community leaders, and partners, especially the Millennium Development Authority, for their unwavering support.
